Chairlift System APOD III

Our Scharf chairlift system APOD III takes over the fast and safe passenger transport over longer distances with vertical curves in mineral mining. With max. transport speeds of up to 1.5 m/s, transport capacities of up to 900 persons/h are achieved, depending on the chair spacing. In addition to high efficiency, capacity and ergonomics, our chairlifts also have the advantage that miners can travel separately, which is an important benefit in the current pandemic situation. Chairlifts are very cost effective to operate as there are no emissions and no additional ventilation is required. SMT Scharf chairlifts are easy to maintain, offer maximum reliability, are very easy and safe to operate and are highly appreciated by the miners. The operation of the chairlifts is continuously monitored by sensors and has proven its efficiency and reliability on many mines.
