Specifications
- Economical 130 kW 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine with intercooler
- Electric, regulated fuel injection
- Engine control unit with specially developed SMT-Scharf characteristic map (mapping)
- Dry exhaust gas cooling
- Traction drive with parallel pressing system
- Powerful generator with 4 separate power supplies (3 of them intrinsically safe)
- hydraulic engine starter, optionally remote controlled
- Modular design
- Intrinsically safe control system
- Data exchange with mine IT infrastructure
- The state-of-the-art engine control unit complies with all applicable exhaust gas regulations
- The SMT-Scharf specific characteristic diagrams of the engine control unit are optimized in terms of performance, consumption and pollutants
- Parallel power units enable constant contact forces, independent of the direction of travel, and thus enable safe and friction wheel-protecting locomotion
- The modular design allows easy reconfiguration of the train composition by the user at the mine without the mandatory use of new parts. Your DZK is therefore also adaptable to future requirements.
- The dry exhaust gas cooling system is unsurpassed in terms of size and cooling capacity and is the most efficient in this performance class worldwide
The component design allows for high flexibility, space mobility and ease of maintenance. The train set is framed by two driver’s cabs. Except for shunting, the driver always climbs into the driver’s cab facing in the direction of travel when changing the direction of travel of the train set. All components used directly by the operator in the respective train set must meet the requirements for operation with the diesel train trolley in technical and safety terms. Driving commands can only be given from a driver’s cab. If one driver’s cab has been activated by the driving key, the control commands of the second driver’s cab are blocked. The electronic communication between the driver’s cabs and other units in the train set takes place via a serial data bus. An EMERGENCY STOP line is laid across the entire train set. Emergency stop switches are located in the driver’s cabs.
